E Type S1 2+2 – One of the rarest E Types made

An original matching numbers 1966 Jaguar E Type S1 2 + 2 and one of the rarest E Types manufactured by Jaguar Cars, as only 974 – RHD were ever made out of a total of 31,699 Jaguar S1- E Types built between 1961 to 1967.

Extensively refurbished by ourselves 6 years ago, which included a bare metal colour change to Opalescent Silver Grey with a complete new Mullbury Red Interior with all chrome work rechromed, full suspension rebuild, including the complete drivetrain rebuilt, full engine rebuild, gearbox overhaul, as well as the IRS unit completely rebuilt and all shown within its photographic history file.

The following upgrades were also supplied and fitted in its refub/rebuild: power steering, thorttle upgrade, front braking caliper upgrade, radiator and electric cooling fan upgrade, polyurethane bushes, 6 x Gaz adjustable shock absorbers, large bore stainless steel six-branch exhaust system, and sitting on wide rim 225/55 -6.5 chrome wire wheels.

Hence this E Type, makes for a superb driving and sounding Jaguar, which also benefits from free Road Tax, MOT requirements, and exempt from all Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) regulations and charges.
